Activities to do at Kalinzu Eco Lodge
1. Chimpanzee Trekking
Chimpanzee Trekking is the most prominent safari adventure offered by the lodge. This adventure offers you a chance to explore and trek the rare chimpanzees in their natural forest habitat. Visitors trek the chimpanzees in the forest with guides to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat.
The trekking adventure takes you a period of 2–4 hours following through the green forest vegetation then later meet the chimpanzees and stay in their presence for a period of 1 hour. Take many photos to keep with you as you get to know that the chimpanzees share about 98% of human DNA.
2. Bird Watching
Bird watching is also done at the Forest as travelers can watch more than 400 bird species inhabiting the rare species of birds which include; Great blue turaco, Hornbills, Sunbirds etc.
3. Hiking and Nature Walks
Hiking and Nature Walks are also exceptionally done in the forest in company with park ranger guides who inform you about the forest, bird species, primate species as well as adventures that are done in the forest. The walks you take follow trails like the Waterfall trails, Valley trails, River paths. On the walks you shall reveal medicinal plants, primates and scenic viewpoints.

How to Get to the Lodge
Kalinzu Forest Eco Lodge of located approximately 5 hours’ drive from Kampala and can easily be accessed from Queen Elizabeth National Park which is about 40 minutes away.
